Graphic Designer / Paper Artist / Maker of Things

Hello! I’m a graphic designer, a paper artist, most of all a maker of things.

In a world where “the product” is everything, the process of making things and learning how to make things have always been the driving force of all my work. Both in graphic design and art I strive for the work to reflect the creative process. I find my inspiration in the process itself, in tactile experiences, experimenting with different materials and techniques.

My artistic journey is driven by a fascination with materials and how they interact—whether it’s the grain of paper, the texture of fabric, splashes of ink or the interplay of light and shadow. This passion for tangible artistry makes each creation not just a visual experience but something that can be felt.

As far as I can remember, I’ve always had something in my hands to play with: paper, fabric, paint, clay, mud, whatever I could scavenge; in order to relax, to make sense of myself and the world. If I touched the fabric of the world which I have been traveling around since I don’t know when, would I understand it better? I think it was this desire to make sense of what was happening around that led me to social sciences at university. Later, during the years I spent in Lesvos, London, Brussels, Oslo and Berlin, as I encountered other ways of life, other textures, other meanings, I realised that different domains of life are in constant interplay, and the more we separate them from one another, the more miserable we get. Would it be possible to touch the fabric of the world by touching light and shadow, art and craft, design, literature, philosophy, sociology, psychology —all at once?
Books in one hand, keyboard in the other; scissors in one hand, paper in the other, fabrics in one hand, pencils in the other… I now know why Shiva, the creator of the universe, needed six arms.
